MY NEW GUITAR!
Conversation on the way to SweeLee:
Me: “Okay, don’t think i need the plug in thingum right?”
Mummy: “Yeah, don’t think you need.”
Me: “Actually what is it even for?”
Uncle: “To plug into an amp so people can actually hear you.”
Me: “…but but but i want to be heard.”
Conversation in SweeLee:
Mummy: “Just get the cheapest one. Don’t need the built in tuner or plug or anything ok. Not like you’re playing for people to hear.”
Me: “So you don’t want to invest in my musical talent for the future?”
(Before you think I’m a spoilt brat, let me just say, that i was just kidding. Really.)
So blessed. God is too good to me.
For all you guitar junkies out there, the brand is Congress by Cort.
Cort guitars are apparently very high quality, according to the SweeLee guy.
Built in tuner and plug thingum.
Ended up with this guitar instead of the one’s without all the “extras” cos the price difference wasn’t really that worth it to buy the cheapest one.
And the guitar sound is so good! It can even make my playing sound quite decent.
That’s gotta say something right.
So… Here’s to the beginning of my journey in getting serious about the guitar! So exciting.
